Ms. Njoroge has over 10 years’ experience in Investment Management with a focus on Asset and Portfolio Management, Investment Analysis and REITs. Hilda is the head of the property business activities at CISL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Co-operative Bank of Kenya responsible for actively leading engagements with clients by providing direction and oversight on business plans and investment strategies for various portfolios under management.
Prior to joining CISL, Hilda worked at STANLIB where she was a core team member of the team responsible for the launch and successful listing of Kenya's first Income Real Estate Investment Trust (I-REIT) dubbed the “Fahari I-REIT” in November 2015. While at STANLIB, she also provided strategic property investment advisory services to segregated mandates. Hilda has also worked with Acorn Group Holdings where she gained experience in real estate development, feasibility studies, deal origination & execution and project finance.
She holds a MSc. in Real Estate Investments and Finance with distinction from Heriot-Watt University Scotland, United Kingdom and a B. Com Finance Honors degree from Strathmore University, Nairobi. She is a full professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA).
Hilda is currently the Secretary of the REITs Association of Kenya (RAK) and serves on the Alternative Investments Committee of the Fund Managers Association (FMA) in Kenya. She also sits on the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) REITs Taskforce charged with the responsibility of promoting the growth and development of the REITs market.
