RAK Signs an MOU with US Association – NAREIT
On 24th July, 2018, the REITS Association of Kenya (RAK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (Nareit). This marks the beginning of a great partnership between the two organizations. The partnership focuses on key areas such as sharing research, knowledge transfer and other areas of mutual benefit to both organizations. As part of the MOU, Nareit will also seek to assist RAK in promoting REITS in Kenya through attending and participating in forums and conferences organized by the RAK.
Nareit is the worldwide representative voice for real estate investment trusts—REITs—and publicly traded real estate companies with an interest in U.S. real estate and capital markets. Nareit advocates for REIT-based real estate investment with policymakers and the global investment community.
